Alcatraz is Pattaya’s newest gogo bar. It’s located on Walking Street just North of Soi 15, next door to Fahrenheit. Initial impressions are of a large gogo that has obviously had a lot of money spent on it. There is a centre island stage and several dancers “behind bars” on the second level. Most of the seating is quite distant from the dancers making it rather impersonal. The girls are dressed up in some nice prisoner and warden outfits although there were not too many good looking ones when we visited.
All the girls are well covered up with very little flesh on show, in fact so little that calling it a gogo bar is rather misleading. Drinks prices are currently top end Walking St, ฿135 for a small draught beer or warm bottle of water. Service was very slow and one of the service girls failed to return the change to another customer. All in all a very poor start. Pattayabargirls called in on the second night the bar opened so lets hope things improve quickly.
Also visited on second night but went back the other day and wow! Lots more girls very sexy and the second floor which wasnt open on second night has a completely different feel, very loungy with lots of flesh on show and more in your face! dDrinks have also come down in price. Worth another visit methinks.
